Seton Hall Business Opportunity
This is a great event to reach the students and faculty at Seton Hall and promote your business! Participation is free but they ask businesses to donate an item for gift certificate for a raffle.
“Dear Maplewood Businesses,
I hope this message finds you well! My name is Rich Picone, and I am the Chair of the Village Relations Committee at Seton Hall’s Student Government Association (SGA). We are thrilled to bring back our “Beyond the Gates” event this semester, and we would love for you to be a part of it!
The event will be held on Thursday, March 13th, in Bethany Hall on campus. To foster meaningful connections between local businesses and our students, we will be hosting a special lunch from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm for business representatives and SGA members, followed by the main event from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Both activities will take place in the same space, and each participant will be provided with a table to promote their business.
To make the event even more exciting, we plan to host a raffle for our students and are seeking donations. If you are interested in contributing prizes such as gift cards, baskets, or other items, we would greatly appreciate your support. Additionally, if your business is hiring, we encourage you to bring applications to share with students during the event.
If you would like to participate in any part of the event or the raffle, please complete the registration form below:

We look forward to seeing you at the event and will follow-up with more details in the coming weeks for those who register.

Immigration Information
A message from SOMA Action for Maplewood businesses:
In light of the Township's commitment to protecting its immigrant residents, we would like to ask for the assistance of Maplewood's business community to help dispense "Know your Rights" information by allowing such information to be placed in the business so that customers can easily acquire them.
Please contact Barbara Velazquez at velazqba1@verizon.net if you wish to have information for your store.
New Social Media Hire
We're excited to announce we hired a social media manager, thanks to State grant funds. Social Charette will be working with us through December, and will be visiting and highlighting businesses on the Avenue.
